Hello!
I've been in Bangkok for exactly one week and it is a little surreal. Mom and I flew over on Korean Air and I have to say the flight was not that bad. 13 hours from JFK to Seoul and then another 5 hrs 23 minutes to Bangkok. Mom did great, she slept for 11 of the 13 hours, PTL! We arrived in Seoul at 4:30am and our connection wasn't until 5:25pm, so we found a little transit hotel to sleep and refresh ourselves. The people were so nice, they even helped us at the airport to find the cheapest place.
When we finally made it to Bangkok and found Seth it was great! He looks fantastic and it was so great to see him. We took a cab into the city and finally got to see Sophie and her round little belly :-). She really looks happy and ready to pop out little Mahlee anytime.
I'll write more tomorrow and post photos of some unusual things we've seen already. What an adventure!
